    Ages 14-15

    • Max 8 hrs/day, 48 hrs/week (state limit — FLSA limits apply for covered employers).

    Ages 16-17

    • No state-specific restrictions.

    No Permits Required
    • Texas does NOT require work permits.
    • Proof of age (age certificate) may be requested for minors under 18.
