Under 14
- Generally may not work.
Ages 14-15
- Max 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week.
Ages 16-17
- 9 hrs/day, 48 hrs/week.
Permits Required
- Employers must fill out 'Intention to Employ a Minor' form when hiring ages 14–15.
- 'Special Limited Permit to Work' required for under 16.
- Employer must keep copy at place of business.
